Hi all,
Welcome to my first newsletter for 2025.
Re-establishing my practice for 2025
Christmas is over and school has returned for the new year and so have I. I have been recovering from the surgery I had just before Christmas, and I am now back to work for 2025. To help in getting re-established for the year I am offering 25% off the cost of a consultation from February 10th to March 10th inclusive, in all locations, including in house appointments. Check out my website for details of these locations and times at https://thehealthpatch.com.au/ or my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61564839039263
Adding modalities
During my time off over Christmas, I have added Flower Essence Remedies to my toolbox to assist people more with emotional and psychological aspects of their health. I have also started my long-awaited Iridology course which I will be adding to my list later in the year. There are several other modalities that I plan to add over the coming months and years so stay tuned for news regarding these.
Samples and referral discounts
I will also be adding product reviews and segments of information with “Did You Know…”. Watch out for these as there may, at times, be samples available at consultations regarding these. I will also be continuing the referral discounts – for anyone who contacts me that you have referred, there will be a 10% discount on your next appointment once they have had their appointment.
Here goes my first “Did You Know…”
“Did You Know…”
Did you know that the gut is connected to the brain? This connection with the brain is quite complex and works both ways – gut to brain, and brain to gut. From experiences like the nervous “butterflies in the stomach” when you have to do something that you are perhaps not fully comfortable with, (like public speaking or asking someone out on a date) or having a “gut feeling” about something, to eating something like chocolate and getting a headache. The connection can be very strong.
Looking after your gut health is so very important, as it is the expression of the rest of the body, in that it essentially governs the rest of your health. What you feed yourself, feeds your microbiome and dictates the ability of the rest of the body systems to function, either at their optimal level for good health or a lower level which would also impact your health.
Product Review
A recent introduction to my daily routine for my own gut health journey has been an Alovea product called Core. This has a pre-biotic blend of Acacia gum, Xylooligosacharides (a type of sugar found in plants known for prebiotic properties), Arabinogalactin (a monosaccharide – simple sugar – which is anti-inflammatory amongst other benefits) and soluble Oat Fibre with 70% Beta Glucan. Pre-biotics are the “food” for pro-biotics, which are vital for the gut microbiome. It is also packed with Collagen peptides and Bioactive Colostrum powder, most important for skin and hair repair (remember that the entire gut lining is “skin”). It also contains a well-studied molecule called Acemannan, found in the Aloe Vera plant. This molecule is a paramount part of good health, as it assists the body in so many ways, from boosting the immune system to the regeneration of cells.
Samples of this product are available during February.

Up Coming Events
There have been several shows and fairs that I have had the privilege of attending with my stall over the last 6 months, from Murray Bridge and Callington Show to Perponda and Karoonda Markets, and the next on my calendar will be the Karoonda Farm Fair – 28th and 29th of March 2025. I will be showing a loop video of my Hunter machines’ capabilities and will have the Energy4Life voice scan system available to participate in and see what it says about your health. Please come and support the Karoonda community and drop in to check your health.
Looking forward to assisting everyone with their health and wellbeing, and remember to…
